  • Dear Sisters
    Thank you for your lovely videos on Facebook. Please pray for me regarding some stress I have, I have some additional responsibilities since 2021. I know that they are minor compared to other responsibilities people have but I would appreciate the prayers.
    p.s. I am reading a book called Mission to the Turkana, your order feature in it, such important work and so interesting to read. Thank you for your work and prayers.

  • Please pray for my sister in law Monica who died very suddenly on 4 May from a brain aneurysm. Her family are devastated as she was in very good health. The family need all our prayers. Monica died in Canada but she went to the Cross and Passion Convent in Ballycastle and her heart remained in Ballycastle. Her wish was that she would be cremated in Canada but wanted her funeral Mass in Ballycastle and to be buried with her parents and sister. The family are honouring her wishes and they are all coming grandchildren and all at end of July. My brother will celebrate the Requiem Mass. thank you for your prayers.

A Prayer for our Earth

All-powerful God, you are present in the whole universe and in the smallest of your creatures. You embrace with your tenderness all that exists.

Pour out upon us the power of your love, that we may protect life and beauty.

Fill us with peace, that we may live as brothers and sisters, harming no one.

O God of the poor, help us to rescue the abandoned and forgotten of this earth, so precious in your eyes.

Bring healing to our lives, that we may protect the world and not prey on it, that we may sow beauty, not pollution and destruction.

Touch the hearts of those who look only for gain at the expense of the poor and the earth.

Teach us to discover the worth of each thing, to be filled with awe and contemplation, to recognize that we are profoundly united with every creature as we journey towards your infinite light.

We thank you for being with us each day. Encourage us, we pray, in our struggle for justice, love and peace.
