The Medical Missionaries of Mary Archive is a repository for the records of the Congregation’s collective history and memory. The aim of the Medical Missionaries of Mary Archive is to centralise, collect, preserve and make available those records of enduring value related to the Medical Missionaries of Mary for the purposes of memory, research, transparency, and accountability. The archive contains documents, photographs, publications, artefacts and other records relating to the foundation and development of the Congregation since 1937, the work and life of MMM Sisters, the development of its governance structures and healing charism and the contribution of women religious to health services. The archive also contains records of the contributions of persons both within the Congregation and associated with it.
The Medical Missionaries of Mary Archive is a private archive but enquiries from researchers are welcomed. Access to the archive is by prior appointment only.
Please contact the Archivist for a copy of the access policy and researcher application form.
Individuals offering donations to the Archive from avenues outside the Congregational Centre can contact the Archivist who will advise on what may be suitable for deposit.
