Kathleen Keegan came from Ballaghadereen, Co. Roscommon. She was already a trained nurse and midwife when she entered MMM on 15 August 1951. She gave of her best in that profession first in Nigeria (Anua), where she spent twelve years, and then in Drogheda for many more years. In fact, it could be said that she was one of the ‘pillars’ who built up the IMTH.

Sr. Pascal also worked with Sr. Consilio, RSM, who had a centre for alcoholics in Athy, Co. Kildare. She was active with the peace movement in Ireland.

Sr. Paschal was an active member of the Old Drogheda Historical Society, the Louth Archaeological Society and the Drogheda Gardening Club. She was instrumental in introducing her MMM Sisters to these societies.

Sr. Pascal died in Drogheda on 6 December 1986 and is buried there.
