Kathleen, from Newry, Co. Down, came to MMM on 30 August 1943. Her forte was in secretarial work. She helped in the MMM Magazine Office in the early days and in bookkeeping, but being the versatile person she was, promotion work was also among her talents.

After a short spell in Nigeria from 1947 – 49, she spent time on the distribution of the film Visitation in England. She was then assigned to open our first foundation in the USA – in Boston, MA as secretary/bursar.

Returning to Ireland in 1952, she became secretary to Monsignor Stokes, administrator and parish priest in St. Peter’s Church, Drogheda, until 1959. After one year on promotion work in Ireland, she was re-assigned to Nigeria, where she worked in Obudu, Ogoja, and Ibadan. She served in Benin City as regional secretary. On her final return to Ireland in 1984, after sick leave, she did a renewal course in Hawkstone Hall, England.

In her latter years she worked in Airmount, Waterford, though her health was very poor at that time. She became incapacitated at Airmount and worked mainly from her room.

She developed her artistic gifts and delighted in designing cards for all occasions in her later years.

Sr. Consillio died and is buried in Drogheda.
