Sheila Nolan, baptised Kathleen Maureen, from Dublin, was termed a ‘late vocation’ when she entered MMM on 11 February1964. She was still to give over twenty years of ministry, mainly in the field of bookkeeping.

During the early years of the Lourdes Laundry in Drogheda, she was in charge of the office. From 1970 to 1978 she was director of the Ladies’ Committee in Drogheda. In 1978, she was assigned to Kenya for one year, staying in various houses and helping out where necessary. She then moved to Uganda where she worked for two months on an exhibition: ‘The Growth of the Church over 100 years’.

After her return to Ireland in 1979, she set up a mission orientation room. She remained in Drogheda, mainly working on printing jobs.

Sr. Zelie died and is buried in Drogheda.
