Baptized Una Kathleen, Sr. Ogilvie was born in Keady, Co. Armagh, but grew up in Motherwell in Scotland. She entered MMM on 2 January 1960.

Because she was already a qualified nurse and midwife, she was assigned to Nigeria shortly after profession. She worked mostly in Ikom but also in Afikpo and Abakaliki. After completing a course in middle management, she worked in Eleta and Irele. She nursed for two years in Ireland following her deportation from Nigeria during the Biafran War. She spent some of this time nursing Mother Mary. During her time in the IMTH she was very popular with the students.

While Ogilvie was a very reserved and refined person, one of her hobbies was Scottish dancing.

Sr. Ogilvie was one of the first group of Sisters to move to Áras Mhuire. She died there in 1997 and is buried in Drogheda.
